PEST CONTROL AGAINST COCKROACHES LIVING CYCLE OF THE BREEDS

Blattella Germanica: The female lays from four to eight egg-cases in its life each one composed from thirty to forty eggs, with an incubation period of three weeks, the egg-cases are laid in places with a high dampness and heat as percolators,, dishwashers, fridges, kitchen units, cupboards, bathrooms and places where endure foodstuffs. This Blattella Germanica produce excrements with pheromones to indicate the places where laying the eggs, feed and “walk”, the risk to contract disease ad toxoplasmosis is very high for the frequented places.

Blatta Orientalis: the female lays from six to eight egg-cases in its life and each one from twelve to twenty eggs and laid along the sewerage wastes, cellar4s or inside the blind areas on the pipes. The Blatta Orientalis is present where there is water or sweats and it is very sensitive to the dehydration and they are less careful in regard to the other breeds, they are very slow, particularly, in the case of shortness food they can feed of their own eggs.

Supella longipalpa: The female lays from twelve to thirteen egg-cases in its life and each one from fourteen to twenty eggs laid along the frames, behind the furniture and the cupboards. TheBlatta Spella Longipalpa is very different form the cockroaches listed above, in fact it does not need of dampness environments but only of high temperatures, it is not able to “infest” an apartment for their slow sexual development and the easiness of dehydration of the egg-cases.

The Blatta Periplaneta Americana: The female lays from twelve to fifteen egg-cases in its life and each one from twelve to sixteen eggs and are laid falling down into leaks where does not arrive the light being the egg-cases of their breed photosensitiveThe Periplaneta Americana has the characteristic of having a sweet tooth of leftened sugar, beers and liquors, it infests the cellars and the sewers, it is afraid of low temperature and this is its only curb on a large scale.

GEL FOR THE PEST CONTROL AGAINST COCKROACHES’ EGG-CASES

The product for the pest control against cockroaches’ egg-cases must not be different according to the breeds, but it must be targeted according to the area of influence of the breed. The “do-it-yourself” pest control is much unadvised for the experience that we need for making a preventive work, monitoring and pest control. The product to use is an attractive gel, hormonal and inviting, and this is useful to complete a good pest control against the adults, for this reason in the event of an infestation already in progress is practically useless, the products to use are the Solfar Gel, but above all the Max Force White IC, both of them Bayer, but the Max Force has got a better formula with more attractive and for this reason more effective.

PEST CONTROL AGAINST FULLY-GROWN COCKROACHES

PEST CONTROL AGAINST FULLY-GROWN COCKROACHES WITH CHEMICAL PRODUCTS

In the case we treat a not inhabited area as the cellar fallen into disuse, a garage or a blind area, we can resort to a product with the solvent base as the clorpirifos or ddvp, obviously these products must be used with the maximum respect of the environment therefore not in scattering, by highly qualified personnel with a chemical person in charge, and with the largest respect of the industrial safety rules.

PEST CONTROL AGAINST FULLY-GROWN COCKROACHES WITH LOW ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT PRODUCTS

In the case we treat an inhabited area or in any case frequented for medium periods of time, we suggest a liquid product with a low toxic index with a high retentivity, in this case is suggested the employment of pyrethroids, poisons derived from the pyrethrum flowers of Africa as the K-Othrine Flow or AquaPy and both of them are Bayer products, this does not mean that these products are ecological but they are at low environmental impact and for this reason for a usage in a civil ambit and in fact these products must be used in the maximum respect of the environment therefore not in scattering, by highly qualified personnel with a chemical person in charge, and in the maximum respect of the industrial safety rules.
